I see evolutionary progress here, previously we would have been burned at the stake...or worse... Now it is at least controversial. Give it some time, food, water, medicine, economic prosperity and a spoonful of logic every few days then we'll see what happens in a few decades ;-)
I am less optimistic. But, that could just be because I have a cold today.
